Here’s a terrific example of an American-made PRS SE 22 in striking Emerald Green with a lovely carved quilted maple top on mahogany body. The mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fretboard with abalone bird inlays. For a 21 year old guitar, it’s in lovely condition – some buckle rash on the back, and a tiny ding on the top of the body provide the evidence of some active service, but the 22 frets show no evidence of wear. This PRS is capable of a wide range of fantastic warm fat tones from its twin PRS Dragon II pickups, controlled by a rotary 5-way selector knob plus master volume and tone controls. The rotary pickup selector runs from 6 to 10, with 6 being the neck humbucker, 7 gives parallel single coils (crisp out of phase tone), 8 gives series single coils (warmer out of phase tone), 9 gives the outside coils in parallel (deep and clear tone) and 10 is the bridge humbucker. Hardware comes in the form of PRS locking tuners and PRS tremolo bridge. The guitar comes with its original hardcase.
