Auden have a growing reputation in the acoustic guitars market for producing the instruments which balance the highest quality with great value. Produced from carefully selected tone woods, the basic guitars are manufactured in a purpose built facility in China, from where they’re shipped to the Auden workshop in the UK. Here, a team of expert luthiers complete the instruments, doing all the work that ensures Auden Guitars play outstandingly well – this includes precision fretwork, hand-finished bone nut and bone/composite bridge installation, and the installation of the superb Brad Clark Supernatural pickup system which ensure the guitars sound just as good amplified as they do when played acoustically.

This is the Colton – an iconic full body dreadnought with huge volume and brilliant clarity. Here in a cutaway model from the most affordable Neo Series version with a AA quality cedar top on mahogany sides and back, with a satin finish mahogany neck and ebony fretboard. The lightweight satin finish on this guitar creates an instrument that is super-playable and extremely resonant. The C profile neck is also from African Mahogany with an Ebony fretboard joining the body at the 14th fret.

This guitar comes fitted with the AS Analogue version of the Brad Clark Supernatural AS pickup system, with accessible volume, EQ and sensor controls on the upper bout. The SuperNatural Analogue system is side-mounted to the upper bout of the guitar allowing for ease of visibility and adjustability. The Analogue System features the same pre-amp, six individual under-saddle pole pieces and a face sensor that can be found in the Digital System. The Analogue System has a bass, treble and a blend allowing the user to blend the face sensor in and out.
