We’re very excited to bring you a brand new Crimson Custom Collection – a range of Crimson Descendant guitars that have been personally customised by Ben Crowe to create some beautiful and unique instruments. Ben has used a range of techniques – special carves, stains, finishes and hardware – to create these one-off guitars, representing a great opportunity to own an instrument created by one of the UK’s best respected luthiers at an accessible price.

In this example, Ben’s special carve creates an extremely comfortable playing experience whilst accentuating the beauty of the figured ash and cherry woods. The rich orange stain on the cherry top is completed with black Gotoh hardware, with the black pickup covers aged by Ben. The comfortable C-shape neck (with twin carbon dual-action trussrod) and backplates are from beautifully grained sapele.  Top grade materials and components are used throughout – selected with the care and attention you’d expect from the Crimson folks. Gotoh 510 bridge , Bourns pots, handwound Crimson Classic Hooker pickups, Alpha switches, Switchcraft jack socket and string ferrules, Jescar medium jumbo frets, carbon fibre nut and Gotoh locking tuners. Comes with a Crimson Hiscox hardcase.
