We’re very excited to bring you a brand new Crimson Custom Collection – a range of Crimson Descendant guitars that have been personally customised by Ben Crowe to create some beautiful and unique instruments. Ben has used a range of techniques – special carves, stains, finishes and hardware – to create these one-off guitars, representing a great opportunity to own an instrument created by one of the UK’s best respected luthiers at an accessible price.

In this example with a beautiful and distinctive Tasmanian Sassafras top, Ben has added a striking arm carve to the new Descendant shape for optimum playing comfort. The usual Crimson trademark hollow dot inlays have been replaced by lustrous mother-of-pearl block inlays for an extra premium look.  The comfortable C-shape neck (with twin carbon dual-action trussrod) and backplates are from rich Rosewood.  Top grade materials and components are used throughout – selected with the care and attention you’d expect from the Crimson folks. Gotoh 510 bridge , Bourns pots, handwound Crimson Classic Hooker pickups, Alpha switches, Switchcraft jack socket and string ferrules, Jescar medium jumbo frets, carbon fibre nut and Gotoh locking tuners. Comes with a Crimson Hiscox hardcase.
