Here’s a Les Paul with a difference. Gibson Smartwood Exotic Les Paul from 2000 featuring an attractive South American Canacharana wood top on a slimmed down mahogany body and gold hardware. The slim body features a belly carve, which together with the lighter than usual Les Paul weight, make it an extremely comfortable guitar to play.  This is a great Les Paul, with all the classic features – mahogany body and neck, bound carved top,  12″ radius rosewood fretboard, humbuckers – all you need to create iconic rock tones – in a distinctive and different package. The guitar is in really excellent condition. Comes with its original Gibson gigbag  and certificate of authenticity,  showing the smartwood series was made by Gibson in partnership with the Rainforest Alliance and the Forest Stewardship Council to help protect, replant and care for the trees and forests of today and of tomorrow.
