Ivison Guitars is a small, boutique electric guitar company based in Worcestershire, UK.  All Ivison guitars are hand built, one at a time by Neil Ivison, from raw lumber selection to the final hand buffed ‘vintage patina’ finish using the finest quality materials available and using traditional construction methods and techniques. 

This Dakota One is a stripped down version of the Dakota model, designed to be an all out rock’n’roll machine, with the single bridge pickup and when coupled with the simple wraparound bridge and unbound, old growth neck, you get a resonant, articulate and hugely satisfying instrument. Featuring  mahogany body  with a raised centre, one piece mahogany neck, bound Indian rosewood fingerboard with celluloid dots,  aged Faber wraparound bridge and hardware and  premium CTS & Switchcraft components. This is the first example of the Dakota to feature a Sunbear Grizzly BearTron pickup. This highly versatile hot Filtertron style pickup and the Dakota is a powerful combination – the basis for everything from country picking to full on Malcolm Young riffage – it makes a glorious sound.

Comes with a Hiscox hardcase and certificate of authenticity.
