The Carey Apprentice is the latest model from the PJS stable – a stripped down but refined rocker with a single p90.  At less than 6lbs you can play this guitar for hours! The Apprentice features a Junior style single cut body made from lightweight obeche in a gloss nitro finish which has been subtly aged to give the guitar a fabulous played-in feel. The neck is made from roasted maple, with a custom neck profile based on a standard “C” shape. The neck has a rounder feeling thickness at the nut, with the profile flattening out as you go up the neck. It’s a profile that works brilliantly with the compound radius fretboard.. The Carey Apprentice is supplied with a hard case and PJD certificate of authenticity.
